Kayole and Embakasi Central: a neighbourhood guide

Embakasi Central is made up of Kayole North, Kayole Central, Kayole South, Komarock and Matopeni/Spring Valley, with Kayole and Soweto among its best-known estates. It is a busy, mostly residential part of Eastlands with a strong local business scene.

Everyday life

Markets, salons, butcheries, churches and small shops line the main roads, and matatus connect the area to town and the rest of Eastlands.
