Kenya Met 24-hour forecast: Nairobi, 23 other counties to experience rain, others thunderstorms

Kenya Met forecasts rain in 24 counties, with thunderstorms in 13, heavier showers in Bungoma and strong winds across five counties in Sunday’s weather forecast.

The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority has forecast rain in 24 counties, including Nairobi, over the next 24 hours.

Thunderstorms are expected in 13 of them, mainly in western Kenya and parts of the Rift Valley.

In its daily forecast issued at 3pm on Saturday, October 24, the weather agency said the outlook runs from 9pm on Saturday to 9pm on Sunday, October 25.

The counties expected to get rain are Nairobi, Mombasa, Kwale, Wajir, Mandera, Marsabit, Isiolo, Meru, Embu, Nyeri, Turkana, West Pokot, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Nandi, Baringo, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, Siaya and Kisumu.
