Burning Up backed to rise to Futurity challenge

The Weekend Winners panel of Kate Tracey, Declan Rix and Sam Boswell offer their views ahead of action from Cheltenham and Doncaster - which plays host to the Futurity Trophy; Watch the episode in full on the At The Races YouTube channel

Ahead of another Saturday of racing, the Weekend Winners team reconvene to discuss the best betting angles.

At the end of the show, each of the trio nominated their best bet, next best and longshot, with Declan Rix taking aim at Doncaster for his top fancy.

"My NAP is coming in the Prospect Stakes at 2.05 at Doncaster on Saturday and it's Hi Corbett Court for the Paddy Twomey and Billy Lee team. I think he has stronger form than Bengal Tiger from that sales race that he ran well in. He's got a bit of class about him, and he has a significant knee action which will help him on Saturday.

"The longshot comes in the opener at Doncaster with the Kevin Phillipart de Foy-trained Sovereign Spell. If you go back and look at this horse's form at Newmarket this season, he looks well handicapped. He goes well fresh and he comes here off a break."
