Sabina Chege calls out opposition hypocrisy, says Sifuna and Ndindi Nyoro are being treated differently

Nominated MP Sabina Chege has accused opposition leaders of double standards, questioning why Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna is welcomed into political discussions while Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro is labelled a mole for making similar political moves.

Speaking during an interview on TV47’s Breakfast Show with Fred Indimuli, Chege said political leaders were behaving alike despite belonging to different camps, with personal interests often taking priority over the country’s needs.

“Politicians are all the same monkeys. They are maybe in different forests, but they are the same monkeys,” she said.

Sabina was responding to a discussion about Sifuna’s meeting with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and what it could mean for efforts to unite opposition leaders ahead of the 2027 General Election.

She argued that Sifuna’s growing political influence had attracted attention, but questioned why his engagement with Gachagua was viewed differently from Nyoro’s involvement in political discussions.
