Ne-Yo's highly anticipated return to Nairobi has left a section of fans with more frustration than fond memories, after a viral clip from the concert showed attendees watching the Grammy-winning artist perform on a giant LED screen rather than with a direct view of the stage.

The One Night Only: Brunch Edition concert took place on 20 October at Ulinzi Sports Complex, marking the R&B star's first Nairobi appearance in 11 years.

Organisers had positioned the event as a premium experience running from 3pm to 11pm, complete with fine dining, curated décor and live entertainment.
