Anti-racism campaign group Kick It Out calls on managers to "set the tone" after Millwall boss Alex Neil criticises halting a game following an accusation of abuse.

The game was stopped for seven minutes while referee Edward Duckworth sought to speak to Millwall's safety officer

Tuesday's Championship match was brought to a standstill for seven minutes, midway through the second half, after reports of discriminatory chants directed at Swansea substitute Ji-sung Eom, which the Metropolitan Police is investigating.

After the game, Neil told BBC Radio London: "It needs to get dealt with. [But] stopping the game doesn't deal with anything. All it does is kill the momentum."

A statement from Kick It Out said: "Player welfare should always take precedence over the momentum or flow of a match, and it's essential that managers and all leaders recognise this and set the tone with their language so that everyone can stand up to discrimination."
