The Nairobi Senator hinted that things looked good on matters concerning the Opposition's unity.

On Tuesday, October 13, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna met DCP Leader Rigathi Gachagua's lieutenants from Kirinyaga County in his office.

Sifuna described Kirinyaga Woman Representative Njeri Maina and Kirinyaga Senator Kamau Murango as solid people.

He revealed that he, Maina, and Murango discussed the way forward for the United Opposition and how to consolidate the leaders behind the push to liberate the country.

"They stopped by the office today to share thoughts on what we must do to unite the country and especially the opposition, for us to return our nation to democratic governance in 2027. The future looks good," he wrote.

The meeting came a day after Murango declared that the DCP party is willing to work with other coalition partners. For her part, the Kirinyaga Woman Rep. has been pushing the United Opposition to name one candidate to face President William Ruto on the ballot.
