A Kenyan investor has turned heads online after a traveller shared an account of discovering that the man driving his long-distance bus was also the person who owned the transport business.

The Abbysinia transport company owner made the journey from Nairobi to Merti behind the wheel of his own bus, only handing over to another driver partway through the trip.

For Shem Beverton Mukalović, a traveller on board the bus, the realisation came as a genuine surprise.

The traveller initially struggled to accept that the driver and the business owner were the same person.
