Nairobi - Kenya Power has announced a planned power interruption affecting residents in Nairobi and two other counties on Sunday, October 11, 2026, as part of scheduled maintenance operations on the national grid.
The utility firm said the outage would run from 8am to 5pm, lasting a total of eight hours. The announcement was made under Rule 27 of the Electric Power Rules, which requires that customers receive advance notice before any planned supply disruption.
