Kiambu - A new opinion poll has placed Mohamed Aden, popularly known as The Don, at the front of the Thika Constituency parliamentary race ahead of the 2027 General Election, with 30.7% of respondents backing him as their preferred candidate.
The survey, conducted by Swiss Poll International, sampled 4,441 voters across the constituency and was conducted at a 95% confidence level with a margin of error of ±3%.

Wainaina Njungle came in second with 26.3%, translating to 1,167 votes in the poll, while Mohamed Aden's tally stood at 1,365 votes, giving him a 4.4-percentage-point advantage over his closest challenger.
