Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has broken his silence on the last time he communicated with ODM party leader Oburu Odinga, after death rumours surrounding the veteran politician sent shockwaves through political circles.

Speaking during an interview that has now gone viral on TikTok, Sifuna revealed that his most recent contact with Oburu took place while the ODM leader was still hospitalised, just before he departed for London to continue his treatment.

Through that exchange, Sifuna said he was informed that Oburu was doing well and had since been discharged from the hospital.

The senator used the platform to send his personal well-wishes to the ailing politician, saying he continued to pray for Oburu's full recovery and swift return to his roles as ODM party leader and Siaya Senator.
