The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has seized 529 electronic items with an estimated value of KSh 13 million following an intelligence-led operation at a residential apartment in the Kileleshwa area of Nairobi.

KRA enforcement officers conducted the operation after receiving intelligence pointing to suspected customs tax evasion, electronic goods smuggling, and the use of a private residence for unlicensed commercial storage and retail activity.

Authorities allege that a foreign national was at the centre of the scheme, moving and storing electronic goods without meeting applicable tax and customs requirements.
