Family appeals for help to find missing Ruai man Brian Musembi

According to the family, Musembi had been living with his grandmother in Ruai before his disappearance.

His aunt, Patricia Guchu, said Musembi was left at home but could not be found when his family returned.

Guchu said the family had become increasingly concerned about Musembi's wellbeing, revealing that he had been experiencing mental health challenges before his disappearance.

“Musembi was mentally unwell. Unfortunately, we were in denial,” she said.

The family fears that his condition could leave him particularly vulnerable while away from home and without the care of his relatives.

“His disappearance has caused immense emotional distress to his grandmother and his relatives,” Guchu said.

She added that the family has so far not received any information that could help establish Musembi's whereabouts, but remains hopeful that he will be found safe and reunited with his loved ones.
