Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Garissa have arrested the prime suspect behind the fatal robbery and stabbing of Osman Aweys Abdi, a US national, who died following an attack in Garissa town earlier this year.

The DCI announced the arrest in a statement on Sunday, October 4, naming the suspect as Muhiyadin Abdi Sheikh, 26, who is currently being held at Kasarani Police Station pending transfer to Garissa, where he is expected to face murder charges.
