DCI detectives arrested Muhiyadin Abdi Sheikh over the stabbing of US national Osman Aweys Abdi in Garissa after tracing him to a hideout in Kabete, Nairobi.
NAIROBI, Kenya- Detectives have arrested a 26-year-old man suspected of fatally attacking US national Osman Aweys Abdi during a robbery in Garissa in May.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) identified the suspect as Muhiyadin Abdi Sheikh.
It said detectives from DCI Garissa traced him to a hideout in Kabete, Nairobi, after several months of investigations and arrested him.
He is being held at Kasarani Police Station pending transfer to Garissa, where he is expected to face murder charges.
