A Kenyan student residing in the United Kingdom lost property valued at KSh 2,008,725 after allegedly being drugged and robbed while travelling by bus from Nairobi to Mombasa, according to police.

Nicholas Mbuvi Ndolo boarded a Green Line Royal bus on September 25 and struck up a conversation with a fellow passenger who identified himself as Dennis.

The two shared pilau during the journey, after which the man offered Ndolo a biscuit. Ndolo noted that the biscuit had an unusual taste before losing consciousness shortly afterwards.
