Ruto leads 2027 presidential race with 45.1% – Politrack Africa Poll

The poll places former Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna second with 19.6 per cent, followed by former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka at 10.3 per cent.
NAIROBI, Kenya Oct 1 – President William Ruto leads the presidential preference survey by Politrack Africa, with 45.1 per cent of respondents saying they would vote for him if elections were held today.
In its assessment, Politrack says Ruto “leads the national presidential preference tally at 45.1%”, while Sifuna has emerged as a significant challenger with 19.6 per cent support.
Other candidates recorded lower levels of preference, with Prof George Wajackoyah at 1.1 per cent, Martha Karua and David Maraga at 0.8 per cent each, James Orengo at 0.4 per cent and Jimmy Wanjigi at 0.3 per cent.
At party level, Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance leads with 32 per cent, followed by the Democracy for the Citizens Party at 11.7 per cent and ODM at 10.6 per cent. Jubilee has 6.9 per cent, Wiper 5.6 per cent, Kenya Kwanza 3.5 per cent and Azimio 3.2 per cent.
