Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna took to the floor of the Senate on Wednesday, September 30, to challenge Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote over remarks the business mogul made at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Dangote East Africa Refinery in Lamu.

Sifuna, who leads the Linda Mwananchi movement, directed his criticism at Dangote's combative stance toward opponents of the KSh 2.07 trillion (US$16 billion) refinery project, arguing that the investor's tone was incompatible with Kenya's constitutional values.
