Kindiki: Delayed projects will cost contractors

DP says contractors who were not fulfilling their agreements had no place in government projects

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has warned contractors delaying government projects that they will be kicked out if they fail to complete the work on time.

Kindiki said contractors who were not fulfilling their agreements had no place in government projects, particularly where they had already been paid while Kenyans continued waiting for the infrastructure.

Speaking on Tuesday during an inspection of development projects in Mathira Constituency, Nyeri, Kindiki said his role was to ensure government projects were completed on time and met the required standards.
