The latest disruption is set to affect several prime estates in Nairobi, including Kilimani and Westlands.
A section of Nairobi residents have been advised to brace for a 24-hour water supply disruption from Monday, November 9 as the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company undertakes pipe connection works near Kianda School along Waiyaki Way.
In a notice on Sunday, the utility company said the shutdown would begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday and end at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10.
Nairobi Water explained that the interruption was necessary to facilitate the installation of new pipe connections, which it said would improve the reliability of water supply in the affected areas.
"Nairobi City Water & Sewerage Company Ltd (Nairobi Water) wishes to inform its customers and the general public of a planned water supply interruption affecting several residential and commercial areas within Nairobi City," the notice read in part.
