PICTURES: Presidential Escort Unit Band leads Nairobi thanksgiving procession

The procession to Holy Family Basilica in Nairobi brought together members of the uniformed disciplined services for the annual thanksgiving observance.

NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 7 — The Presidential Escort Unit Band is leading this year’s Uniformed Disciplined Services Thanksgiving, a key end of year event in the calender of uniformed services.

Inspector General of the National Police Service Douglas Kanja arrived at Holy Family Basilica ahead of the service, which brings together uniformed personnel for prayers and thanksgiving.

The Kenya Police Service shared images of the procession and Kanja’s arrival on Saturday, as preparations got underway for the annual gathering.
