DCI Hunts Armed Suspect Linked to Nairobi Robberies After Shootout

Detectives are pursuing an armed man linked to multiple violent robberies after a shootout left several police officers injured.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has launched a search for a man wanted over several robbery with violence cases reported in Nairobi and neighbouring areas.

In a notice issued on Wednesday, November 4, the agency identified the suspect and appealed to the public to help officers establish his whereabouts.

DCI reiterated that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous and is believed to have carried a firearm during the reported robberies.

“The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. He is believed to have used a firearm during robberies committed within Nairobi Region and its environs,” the notice stated.

Detectives further disclosed that the wanted man was involved in a recent exchange of gunfire with police officers.
