A curious young boy in Kibera, Nairobi, stumbled upon something far beyond what any child should encounter: a newborn baby, alive and moving, tucked inside a woven bag on the ground.
The boy had been playing outside when he noticed the bag shifting. He went closer to investigate and, upon opening it, found a newborn infant inside.
Without hesitating, he called out for help from a man walking nearby. The man removed his jacket, wrapped the baby in it and headed straight to the Usikimye offices.
