Despite creating a flurry of goal-scoring chances and registering more shots on target than their opponents, Kayole’s inability to capitalize in front of goal ultimately proved costly.
The defeat leaves Kayole Starlets sitting 7th on the FKF Women’s Premier League standings.
Reflecting on the encounter, Kimani admitted that while the performance showed plenty of promise, finishing remains an urgent priority for his technical bench.
“The game was good, I think we created far more chances than them. We also had more shots on target than them, but our main weakness was in the finishing. It is an area we need to work on, and I can assure everyone that we will put a lot of effort into improving it,” Kimani noted.
