Businesswoman and Kenya Patriots Party (KPP) leader Agnes Kagure has shifted her political sights from Nairobi to Nyeri county, where she is positioning herself to run for governor in the 2027 General Election.

Kagure shared a series of posts on Facebook from October 29, signalling her change of focus after years of building a political following in Nairobi.

Billboards bearing her name and the words "Nyeri Governor 2027" have since appeared at strategic locations across the county, reinforcing the message.
