• Valkering Impact Group Nederland is seeking an experienced professional to support the fair and consistent selection of students for the Certified Caregiving Assistant training program. The Student Selection Officer plays a key role in assessing applicants, evaluating their readiness, and ensuring that only motivated and qualified candidates progress to training.
• Assess applicants for the Certified Caregiving Assistant training.
• Conduct structured interviews to evaluate eligibility, motivation, and readiness.
• Verify applicant information and documentation.
• Score candidates consistently using predefined criteria.
• Prepare clear and well‑reasoned selection reports.
• Recommend a fair shortlist of qualified candidates.
• Uphold integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism throughout the selection process.
• Proven experience in selecting students, trainees, or beneficiaries.
• Strong judgement and ability to justify selection decisions.
• Background in caregiving, nursing, hospital work, or care centre operations.
• Ability to produce consistent scoring and clear reports.
• High level of integrity, empathy, and discretion.
• Professional part‑time position.
• Two days per week, with potential for increased involvement later.
• Based in Nairobi (Embakasi East).
