• NestVest is a technology-driven real estate sales, leasing and investment advisory platform headquartered in Kilimani, Nairobi. We pair curated property listings with mortgage-affordability tools, neighbourhood analytics and a growing pipeline of verified sales and rental inventory. We are building out a high-performing sales function and are looking for a proven sales leader to own it end-to-end.
• This is not a desk job and it is not a "manage a small team" role. We need a builder — someone who can set the strategy, recruit and coach a sales team, and personally close large deals alongside them. You will own the full sales funnel from lead generation to property viewings, offers and closing, and you will report directly to the Founder.
• Own the sales strategy and revenue targets across sales, rentals and new development projects
• Recruit, train and lead a team of property consultants (you'll have the mandate to build your own team)
• Set KPIs, coaching cadence and sales rituals that actually move deals
• Personally lead high-value negotiations and closings with buyers, investors and diaspora clients
• Work directly with Marketing, CRM and Product to make sure every lead is tracked, qualified and converted
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, landlords and institutional partners
• 5+ years in real estate sales, with 2+ years leading a sales team
• A track record of closing deals and hitting (or beating) revenue targets — show us the numbers
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage high-value / high-touch clients
• Comfortable being hands-on: you sell, you coach, you hire
• Experience in Nairobi property market is a strong plus; understanding of both sales and rental verticals is ideal
• High-growth platform with a clear path — this is a leadership role, not a lateral move
• Direct access to the Founder and a seat in shaping how the sales function is built
• Attractive commission and incentive structure that rewards real results

• NestVest is a property investment platform helping local and diaspora investors in Kenya make smarter real estate decisions through curated investment properties, mortgage affordability tools, area rankings and market insights. We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales team in Nairobi.
• You will be responsible for building a high-performing sales team, driving lead-to-deal conversion, setting sales targets, and ensuring our sales processes align with our data-driven property platform. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will coach, motivate and manage the team while also closing deals when required.
• Recruit, train and manage a team of property sales consultants
• Set individual and team sales targets (viewings, offers, deals)
• Run daily/weekly sales stand-ups, pipeline reviews and performance coaching
• Build a performance culture with clear KPIs, incentives and accountability
• Own the full sales funnel: lead → consultation → viewing → offer → deal
• Work closely with the Growth and Marketing teams to ensure leads are followed up within 24 hours
• Monitor and improve conversion rates at every stage of the funnel
• Ensure CRM discipline: accurate records, follow-ups and reporting
• Deep understanding of Nairobi property market (Kilimani, Westlands, Lavington and investment hotspots)
• Knowledge of mortgage, off-plan, and diaspora investment sales
• Use NestVest data tools (area rankings, affordability calculator) to support clients' decisions
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management
• Analyse team performance and identify training needs
• Feed market intelligence back to the product and marketing teams
• 3+ years of real estate sales experience in Kenya, with at least 1–2 years in a sales leadership/management role
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong coaching, motivation and team management skills
• Excellent English communication (written and spoken); Kiswahili is an advantage
• Customer-focused, resilient and self-driven
• Proficiency with CRM tools and basic reporting (Excel/Google Sheets)
• Experience selling to diaspora and international investors
• Knowledge of mortgage/financing processes in Kenya
• Experience with off-plan/new development projects
• Valid PSV/land-buying agent certifications or estate agency experience
• Punctual, reliable and professional
• Honest with strong ethics — we never tolerate misrepresentation of properties
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven startup environment
