• The Partnerships Success Lead is the steward of Turaco’s partnerships in Kenya, responsible for nurturing relationships, ensuring operational speed, process integrity, and exceptional partner communications, and making sure every partner experiences exceptional value from our collaboration.
• This role is for someone who thrives on building trust, solving problems, and creating win-win outcomes.
• Build deep, trusted relationships with partners at all levels, from senior executives to regional, branch and field teams.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Turaco and partners, ensuring smooth communication, transparency and consistent engagement.
• Build strong champions within partner organizations who understand, support and advocate for Turaco’s products and partnership.
• Conduct regular check-ins, field visits and partnership performance reviews, and use insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Take ownership of partner growth, including customer adoption, product uptake and Gross Written Premium performance.
• Coordinate successful partnership launches and product rollouts, and ensure partner challenges are resolved quickly through internal collaboration.
• Work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to plan and execute partner activations that increase awareness, adoption and customer engagement.
• Maintain strong visibility within partner branches and field operations and build relationships beyond head office.
• Identify training and product-knowledge gaps and coordinate refresher sessions where required.
• Track partner performance month-on-month, identify declines in GWP or uptake, and develop recovery plans for underperforming partnerships.
• Understand the gap between current performance and annual targets and identify upsell, cross-sell and expansion opportunities to close it.
• Act as a key point of contact for partners, underwriters, regulators and relevant industry groups in Kenya.
• Lead market intelligence, keeping the wider Commercial team informed on competitors, pricing, product innovation, new entrants, legislative changes and compliance hurdles.
• Identify new partnership opportunities and share relevant market intelligence with the Business Development team.
• Ensure partners are invoiced on time, payments are collected within agreed timelines, and any delays are proactively managed and escalated.
• Represent Turaco professionally and strengthen our reputation as a responsive, innovative and dependable partner in Kenya.
• Take ownership of ensuring partners receive a strong and consistent experience across Turaco.
• Work closely with Customer Experience, Claims, Operations, Finance, Technology, Product and Marketing to resolve partner issues quickly.
• Anticipate partner needs and potential problems rather than waiting for issues to be escalated.
• Maintain clear communication, deliver agreed commitments and continuously use partner feedback to improve our products, processes and service.
• Operates as part of one Revenue Centre where Business Development, Partnership Success and Marketing share responsibility for winning new business, growing existing partnerships and strengthening the partner and customer experience.

• Deep operational familiarity with financial inclusion, microfinance, agricultural networks, or mass-market fintech platforms.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage C-suite executives and frontline teams alike.
• Strong analytical and presentation ability, comfortable with data-driven storytelling.
• Highly collaborative, empathetic, and comfortable working across diverse teams and market environments.
• You have held a similar role at the country level and worked closely with a central team to support account management.
