• Job Type Full Time , Onsite
• Qualification BA/BSc/HND , Diploma
• Experience 2 - 3 years
• Location Nairobi
• Job Field Marketing and Communication
• Salary Range KSh 50,000 - KSh 100,000/month
• To make the quality of our work visible and verifiable to the people who need to assess it — hospital owners, boards, funders and procurement teams — through accurate, well-evidenced published content.
• Produce project case studies to our house standards: the situation the client faced, the judgement we applied, and the outcome — supported by evidence rather than specification lists. Every figure is traced to a source document and the source is recorded.
• Work with colleagues across projects, design and commercial teams to assemble the records each case study depends on.
• Interview project leads and senior colleagues to capture the thinking behind a project, and write it up in language a non-specialist can act on.
• Own the monthly content calendar. Brief the social media and web colleagues who publish, and keep enough prepared material in hand that output does not stop when the team is on site.
• Write a monthly long-form piece, and build a library of profiled projects across the agreed priority portfolio.
• Keep the records from which monthly reporting is produced: what was planned, what published, and what was held up and why.
• Work to our publication rules: nothing carrying a client's name, logo, quote or identifiable project detail is published without documented client permission and internal approval, and nothing technical is published without senior technical sign-off.
• What is owned, and what is depended on
• Publication depends on records being released, permissions being granted and reviews being returned. This role owns preparation, coordination and escalation. Where evidence or an approval is missing it is flagged and reported — never worked around, and never invented.
• A diploma or degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
• Two to three years producing published written work — business-to-business, professional services, healthcare, development or media. Agency, in-house or newsroom experience all count.
• A portfolio of published long-form work: articles, features, case studies or reports. Not social posts.
• Evidence of interviewing a technical expert and writing up what they said in language a non-expert can act on.
• Accuracy and source discipline: comfort working to rules about what may and may not be claimed, and the habit of naming a gap rather than writing around it.
• Strong written English.
• CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing.
• Healthcare, construction, built-environment or development-sector exposure.
• The judgement to brief and direct a photographer. Taking the photographs is not part of this post.
