Job summary
The overall purpose of the job is plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects and maintenance activities in collaboration with all departments to ensure that the engineering team is meeting the needs of the company
Job descriptions & requirements
• Assistant Engineering Manager
• Supervisor, Electrical
• Supervisor, Mechanical
• Supervisor, Utility
• Refrigeration Supervisor
• Maintenance Planner (Maintenance Administrator)
• Instrumentation & Automation Engineer
• Boiler Supervisor
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related Engineeringdiscipline.
• Professional registration with the relevant engineering body is an added advantage.
• Minimum of eight (8) years' progressive engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least three (3) years in an engineering leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance management, engineering project management, utilities management, asset reliability and continuous improvement.
• Sound knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems, engineering best practices, and applicable statutory, environmental, health and safety (EHS), and food safety requirements.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery
• Strong technical background with experience in multiple programming languages
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Industry-specific certifications or licenses
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage a team
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• The job holder is accountable for the preparation and tracking of the department’s budget including stocks, assets and work tools assigned.
Decision-making
• The job holder has decision making authority on key decisions in the department within existing guidelines and provides recommendations to facilitate final decisions.

• The jobholder has minimal access to confidential information. The job requires normal level of confidentiality
