Nuctech Kenya Company LimitedProject Manager (PMP) Location: Nairobi, KenyaTravel: Regional travel as requiredAbout the Role: Nuctech Kenya Company Limited is seeking a highly organized, proactive, results-oriented Project Manager (PMP) to join our team in Nairobi.The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing projects from inception through implementation, commissioning, client acceptance, and final sign-off.The position is based in Nairobi, Kenya, with regional travel within Africa to support project implementation, client engagements, site activities, and successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and manage projects from inception through implementation, commissioning, and final sign-off.
• Coordinate equipment procurement, shipment, customs/logistics processes, site readiness, delivery schedules, and deployment activities in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate project implementation, client training, acceptance testing, commissioning, and certification.
• Manage day-to-day project teams and coordinate activities across different functions.
• Monitor project milestones, timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, compliance records, and project close-out documentation.
• Engage with clients professionally and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Understand and address client needs, concerns, changes in scope, requirements, costing, and other project-related matters.
• Coordinate communication between clients, internal teams, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, delays, and challenges and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and requirements.
• Travel regionally as required to oversee project implementation and provide project support.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is required.
• A technical, engineering or systems-integration background will be an added advantage
• 3–5 years of proven project management or project implementation experience, preferably in technology, engineering, security systems, infrastructure, construction, systems integration, telecommunications, transport, logistics, or other technical project environments.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong organizational, leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally as required.
