• Spearheading the preparation of research and innovation reports
• Coordinating the development of the research and innovation database
• Reviewing research agendas and tools
• Reviewing research proposals and concept papers for research and innovation programmes
• Monitor and review research and innovation programmes
• Benchmarking on best practices on research and innovation
• Coordinating the submission and documentation of innovations
• Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing
• Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution
• Masters Degree in any of the following disciplines: Special Needs Education Engineering, Science, Social Sciences, Applied Research, Education Technology, Statistics, Economics or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution
• Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Special Needs Education, Engineering, Science, Social Sciences, Applied Research, Education Technology, Statistics, Economics or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution.
• Cumulative service period of twelve (12) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been at the grade of Principal Research and Innovation Officer or in a comparable position
