Trade ForemanFIXT LtdFull time Ref: 20261500 Opened: 08/09/2026 Closes: 08/10/2026About FIXT LtdFIXT Ltd is a Guernsey-based specialist property damage and building services company, providing leak detection, structural drying, water and fire damage services, moisture investigation and general building works.Working alongside local Chartered Building Surveyors, building contractors and other industry professionals, FIXT provides specialist support from initial investigation and damage mitigation through to building and remedial works.As the business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Trade Foreman to join our team and support our expanding workload across the island.The RoleThis is a hands-on supervisory role for an experienced tradesperson who is confident leading a team while remaining actively involved in work on site.You will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site activities, organising workloads and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Key Responsibilities
• Supervising and coordinating tradespeople and day-to-day site activities
• Planning and allocating workloads to ensure work progresses efficiently
• Working alongside the team and providing practical, hands-on support where required
• Monitoring workmanship and ensuring work meets required standards and specifications
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed on site
• Coordinating materials, equipment and other resources
• Monitoring progress against project schedules and deadlines
• Identifying and resolving practical issues on site
• Liaising with management, contractors, surveyors and other relevant parties
• Supporting building, remedial and property damage works as required
• Maintaining a professional, organised and productive working environment
About YouWe are looking for someone who:
• Has significant practical experience within the building, construction or a relevant skilled trade environment
• Has previous supervisory, foreman or team-lead experience
• Is comfortable taking a hands-on approach and working alongside the team
• Can confidently manage and motivate others
• Has a strong understanding of site health and safety
• Has excellent practical and problem-solving skills
• Can organise workloads and work effectively to deadlines
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
• Is reliable, professional and able to work with minimal supervision
