• Assisting in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation.
• Processing invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Supporting accounts payable and receivable activities, including tracking outstanding payments.
• Contributing to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintaining an organized system for filing and retrieving financial records and supporting documents.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA-K as an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Knowledge of NGO financial procedures and donor compliance is an added advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Interpersonal skills with experience working with children affected by crisis/conflict.
• Commitment to human/children’s rights and an understanding of rights-based approaches and their application.
