MP Karauri Takes Aim at Sakaja Over Mosiria’s Sacking

Story

Kasarani MP Ronald Karauri has taken aim at Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja following the sacking of Nairobi County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria.

In an update on Wednesday, October 21, Karauri appeared to criticise the move by suggesting that Mosiria had been dismissed for engaging the public, a responsibility associated with his former position.

"Imagine being the Chief Officer for Public Participation, only to be fired for participating. When a hyena wants to eat its own young, it first accuses them of smelling like goats," he wrote.

Karauri also offered Mosiria an assurance of employment should he become Nairobi governor following the 2027 General Election.

"Mosiria, don’t worry, In 2027, when I get into City Hall as the Governor of Nairobi, I will give you a job. A real job, not the kind where you sit in an office without any responsibilities, as has been the case since 2023," he added.
