Winnie Odinga made quite the entrance onto TikTok Live, and it wasn't the filters she was fumbling with that got people talking.

During her very first TikTok Live session on October 17, 2026, the politician casually dropped a revelation that reframed the entire Nairobi Senate race: Langata MP Felix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang'o, is her uncle.

Jalang'o tells off critics predicting his loss in Nairobi senator race: "Going home won't affect me"

Rather than coming out swinging against her rival, Winnie struck a remarkably measured tone. She said she had already spoken to Jalang'o about the matter and made her position clear.

The comments drew warm responses from others on the call, with several voices heard encouraging her and expressing confidence in her campaign.
