Gachagua promises tax incentives to investors who create jobs

Speaking in Dallas, Texas, during an engagement with business investors from Kenya and the United States, Gachagua said investors need greater recognition and support from government for their contribution to job creation and economic growth.

“My government will come up with a policy of giving tax incentives to investors, especially those who will demonstrate capacity to create jobs. I’ll want a situation where anybody who creates more than 10 jobs should be known to me personally as President and get some form of recognition,” he said.

He said his administration would maintain closer engagement with investors and introduce incentives for those who create employment opportunities.
