SportPesa Mega Jackpot reaches Ksh 138,368,060; Midweek pool stands at Ksh 20,280,097

SportPesa's own blog reports two large jackpots for the first week of November 2026, but the sources do not explain why searches for the brand are rising.

What happened

SportPesa's blog reports that the Mega Jackpot has risen to Ksh 138,368,060, which it says can be won with a stake of 99 shillings by the end of the first week of November 2026 [1]. A separate post from the same blog says the Midweek Jackpot stands at Ksh 20,280,097, with games scheduled from Tuesday 3 to Wednesday 4 November 2026 [2].

Winning the Mega Jackpot requires correctly predicting 17 selected matches [1]. The Midweek Jackpot requires 13 correct predictions for the top prize [2].

Why Kenyans are searching for it

The sources do not explain why the term is trending. They are promotional posts from SportPesa's own blog. They describe prize levels and how to play, but none says what has driven recent search interest, so this explainer does not assume a cause.

The third source, a Daily Nation profile of Catherine Elizabeth titled 'From athletics, football to Kenya Lionesses', does not mention SportPesa and is not used here.
