Kenya Met lists 27 counties to receive rain over next 24 hours, warns of strong winds in 3 counties

Kenya Meteorological department forecasts rainfall in 27 counties on Saturday, November 7, including Nairobi, Machakos and Kisumu, and warns of strong winds.

The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority has forecast rainfall in 27 counties across the country, with residents expected to experience showers and thunderstorms in several areas between Friday night, November 6, and Saturday, November 7.

In its daily weather forecast issued on Friday, November 6, at 3 pm, the department indicated that rainfall would be experienced in parts of the country from 9 pm on Friday to 9 pm on Saturday.

The counties expected to receive rainfall include Tana River, Taita Taveta, Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Embu, Kitui, Machakos, Makueni, Nyandarua, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Laikipia, Nakuru, Narok, Kajiado, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Siaya, Kisumu, Kisii, Nyamira and Nairobi.
