A Nairobi boda boda rider has received a brand new motorcycle from Kenyans moved by his selfless response to a woman in distress outside Kenyatta University, after well-wishers raised KSh 169,000 on his behalf.
Rahim and a friend were passing the KU gate when they came across a young woman who had stripped and was in obvious distress.
Rather than laughing, ignoring her or chasing her away, Rahim sourced a pair of trousers and helped her put it on. He then reached out to Derick Mbugua, a well-wisher, to assist with her care.

The two men accompanied the woman to hospital for the entire day, with Rahim never once asking for compensation despite the time and effort involved.
