Kisii governor Simba Arati wins prestigious 2026 CTE Award

Kisii Governor Simba Arati has been presented with the 2026 County and Town Excellence (CTE) Award by the Town and County Planners Association of Kenya (TCPAK), recognising the transformation of the Nyambera waste dumpsite into Etaya Governor's Park.

Arati reaffirmed his commitment to protecting the environment for present and future generations. He added that the world is at a critical stage where environmental conservation is not only necessary but also key to mitigating the negative effects of climate change.
