Vivo Energy Kenya, the distributor of Shell-branded fuels and lubricants in the country, has publicly condemned a man caught on camera misusing a fuel pump nozzle at one of its Nairobi filling stations.
The company issued a statement on Thursday, October 29, confirming it was aware of footage circulating online that showed unsafe conduct at its Westview service station the previous night.
The clip, shared on TikTok, appears to show a man dispensing fuel around a parked vehicle on the forecourt while a companion watches.

A caption reading "Roads are dusty out here" suggests the act was framed as a joke about cleaning the car rather than a genuine refuelling activity.
