Babu Owino tears into Geoffrey Mosiria as he seeks Nairobi governorship: "Can't even win MCA seat"

Babu Owino questions Geoffrey Mosiria’s fitness to govern Nairobi, citing his City Hall record as both men eye the 2027 gubernatorial race amid a bitter feud.

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has ridiculed the political aspirations of former Nairobi County chief officer Geoffrey Mosiria, arguing that a man who was repeatedly reassigned and eventually removed from public service has no business seeking the governorship.

Babu made the remarks during an interview on Thursday, October 29, responding to personal allegations Mosiria had levelled against him regarding children he purportedly fathered outside his known family.

The MP rejected the claims about his family, challenging Mosiria to present the family he had been referring to.

Babu Owino: Sakaja, Mosiria will go to jail if I become Nairobi governor in 2027

Mosiria served under Governor Johnson Sakaja since his election in the 2022 general election. The governor appointed him chief officer for Health.
