Beatrice Atieno · Answer

"I have already changed into my home clothes." Apparently, changing back into outdoor clothes requires a formal application.

Francis Kiprono · Answer

"I am waiting for a delivery." No delivery was mentioned before the invitation, but now the parcel has become a family responsibility.

Ann Waithera · Answer

"My budget and I are not on speaking terms this week." Honestly, that is more responsible than pretending you can afford the outing.

Samuel Kipchoge · Answer

"I have a very important meeting with my bed." At least the meeting location is clear and the other party is reliable.

Dennis Kiprotich · Answer

"I am trying to reduce unnecessary movement." This sounds like a public-health strategy rather than a person avoiding a Saturday plan.

Agnes Nyawira · Answer

"Let me see how the weather behaves." The sky could be completely clear and the decision would still be pending.

Cynthia Auma · Answer

"I have started a new routine and today is my recovery day." Nobody knows what routine it is, but recovery sounds serious.

Victor Barasa · Answer

The most creative excuse is probably the one that includes a long explanation when "I am tired and would rather stay home" would have worked perfectly.
